well, not really. I have the day off tomorrow. I want to do something but I don't know what. I might go into the city and head over to SFMOMA. That is always fun. I dunno. Maybe i'll just lay in bed all day.

I made it through the weekend and still have some money in my pocket.
Friday night I spoke on the phone with a girl from friendster.com. She likes to talk a lot which is a good thing because I am very quiet and retardo on the phone. She was going to Spoons to have a few drinks with her friends and asked me if I wanted to join them. I said I wanted to have dinner first and then I would call them to see if they were still there. I ate some chicken taquitos and then went up to my room to listen so some music for a while. I ended up falling asleep and didn't wake up until 2am. I felt like a dumbass.
I called her the next morning to apologize and she was really cool about it. We both had plans for Saturday night so we weren't going to be able to hang out. She was going to some birthday events for her friend and so was I.
Saturday night was the big Buca Di Beppo night for The Funk. We had 16 people show up and got the pope room. The food was ok. They need to get some better specials and stuff.
Afterwards we went across the street to Gordon Beirsche. We had a few drinks and then went home. It was exremely subdued considering that this was all for The Funk. In previous years his celebration turned into an all night drunken mess.
On Sunday I sorta lounged around the house. Around mid-afternoon I went out to see if I could find a nice housewarming gift for my ex-roommates. I went to WalMart first and ended up being trapped in there for way longer than I wanted to. It was too packed to move around freely. By the time I got frustrated with the crowd I was already in the back of the building so I had to fight my way to the front to get out.
I was going to go to Target next but I decided to go to New Park Mall instead. They have a Target there so I thought it would be a great place to look for other stuff as well, before going to Target. I went into Mervyn's and decided that I was either going to get them a pewter sconce or a nice picture frame. In the end I decided on the picture frame because I didn't know if the sconce would match their decor. I also picked up a chenille throw for myself to keep me warm when I'm down in the living room. I wanted to buy a george foreman grill but they didn't have the one with the adjustable temperature setting. I NEED the adjustable temperature setting! Anyway, this worked out as far as saving money in the short term because I have a Mervyn's card that I charged the purchase on. No cash out of my pocket, YAY!
So then I went home, wrapped the gift, and headed over to the housewarming party. Their new neighborhood is like one of those places with a very narrow street and you are not allowed to park on one side. The side you are allowed to park on is tiny. I ended up parking hella far away.
There were a bunch of people there already. Buffie was there. I like Buffie. She is a big girl. She is soft and cuddly and fluffy and has giant bizznoobies.
There was a lot of good food there. They had korean style short ribs, lumpia, lasagna, baked ham, mashed potatoes, pasta salad, rigatoni, cheesecake, chocolate cake, chocolate covered pretzels, and these sweet lumpia with plantains in them. The house was really nice but I think I would have felt very cramped there if I had moved in with them.
