Friday night was porn night. Not just any porn, 3D 70's porn! Yeah, I drove to the Aquarius Theater at around 11pm and bought my ticket to The Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy. Since the movie wasn't scheduled to begin until midnight I walked over to Pizza My Heart and got a slice of pepperoni and a drink. The place was filled with annoying college students from Sanford.
There was this one foreign student in front of me who was paying for like a million slices for everyone else. I bet he was trying real hard to make friends. Anyway, being a goddamn foreigner he apparently didn't know that you do not continue to stand right in front of the cash register after you have paid for your food. So he stood there while I was trying to pay for my slice. Then the little bastard took my change, which I promptly made him hand over.
After my slice I walked back over to the theater to stand in line. There was some delay and they didn't let us in until 12:30, which sucked because it was cold.
The movie itself wasn't as great as I thought it would be. The 3d effect was not that great. There were only a couple of parts where it was really noticeable. There was this one scene when two people were screwing on a boat and the dude had the girls legs kind of pushed back and her foot was sticking straight out towards you. There weren't any really good 3d cumshots. The story line was really cheesy too but not in a hilarious way.
Saturday I had to go shopping in the morning. I had to buy a gift for lil missy's baby shower and a gift for The Funk's birthday. I went to Target because that is where lil missy was registered at. I ended up buying her this organizer for her baby bottles and stuff. Then I went to the mall and bought The Funk this DKNY shirt at Macy's.
So afterwards then I went home and wrapped lil missy's gift and headed to the place she used to share with her brother and sister. The place was packed to the gills with filipinos. Of course that also meant that the place was packed with FOOD. I mingled with her family and ate a lot of food and watched her open her gifts.
After the baby shower I went home and took a shower and got all gussied up for The Funk's birthday. We met up at his girlfriend's house and I drove us all to TJ's Gingerbread House in Oakland. It was very unique. I don't know if the food was worth the price but it was very good anyway. The Funk wants to go back for breakfast so we might do that one of these weekends.
From there we went to this little dive bar in San Leandro. It's this place owned by a Korean lady and has a mexican karaoke guy on the weekends. The place was packed with mexican cowboys singing all the mexican favorites. The Funk sang a few english songs that they had and quickly won over the crowd. We didn't stay there all night though, which was fine with me because I was really sleepy.
Today I went to The Funk's place early in the morning. He made breakfast and we watched the Raider game while installing a new speaker and amp in my Toyota. Now I have some serious bass in my Camry. I watched part of the 49er game before I had to leave to go to the hula competition.
I got to the fairgrounds around 3:30pm. Parking was easy since it seemed like a lot of people had already gone home. I walked around a bit, checking out all of the vendor booths. I didn't get any hawaiian food since I was still stuffed from the BBQ I had at The Funk's place. So after walking around I just went to the building that they were having the hula performances.
A lot of the seats were being saved by people that had already gotten there. I eventually found a seat down on the floor level. IslanGrl's performance was the very last one of the day. There were some really good performances before hers though.
I was so excited when her group came out. My pulse started to speed up. I haven't actually laid eyes on IslandGrl since July so this really was a big deal for me. I hadn't seen any of her friends so I was sitting all alone. During the show her friends were making a lot of noise though but you can't get out of your seat during a performance so I wasn't able to move to where they were.
After the performances there was an award ceremony. I didn't stick around though. I knew that I wasn't going to get to see IslandGrl even if I stayed so I didn't bother. I saw her group taking photos as I was walking to my car but I didn't want to be the desperate loser so I just kept walking. I sent her a text message letting her know that I saw her.
She just called me not to long ago. She said that they took 2nd place for the performance that I saw. Her halau also won first place for the solo performances. She wanted to thank me for showing up and said it really meant a lot to her. She was supposed to go to dinner with the halau but she decided to go home instead. She said she was tired and also something about some drama with the other girls in the halau. She might call later tonight to talk about it but I'm not holding my breath.
