(I typed this out during lunch)
I don't even know where to begin with this weekend. It was so busy. Oh, I'll begin by letting you all know that right now I'm enjoying a nice fat Linguica Dog, that's Portuguese Sausage for my Island peepz, and some chili cheese fries. Oh this is so damn good, let me tell you! I took pictures with my cell phone so I'll post them tonight after I get home from the gym.
Ok, so Friday after work I met up with some co-workers at a bar in Downtown SF for a couple of beers. It was nice to kick it with them. I hadn't gone out with my co-workers in a long ass time. I couldn't stay long though becaue I had to head back to Fremont.
When I got back home I ate some quick Taco Bell and then rushed over to pick up Kelly. We were going to be meeting Shutupmom who was visiting SF from Wisconscin. The bar we were going to meet them at was closed so after a game of cell phone tag we agreed to meet at a bar called The Telephone Booth that's in the Mission District. It was very scenester in there. Very tiny too!
Good times were had by all. It's always great to meet cool people even if you aren't necessarily going to be hanging out with them all the time. Some Japanese lessons were given out. Ladies, all you need to remember is that "Goo Goo Ga Ga" translates to "Oh Yeah!". I need to take Japanese lessons again, especially if I do end up going to Japan this year.
Saturday I kicked it with my friends. We took a quick trip up to the Cow Palace for a custom car and motorcycle show. It was a small show but they had some cool cars. Thankfully they didn't have too many F*rds. They did have one nice Mustang, nice if you are a 16 year old girl and daddy just bought you your first car. The rest of the day was spent watching football and eating some kick ass spaghetti.
Saturday night we went to a friend's bar in San Leandro. We had a blast there. It was a little iffy at first with the heavy Latino Heat presence. They had put in a million quarters into the jukebox and it seemed like the whole night was going to be mariachi and banda music. Thankfully when they realized that their unbuttoned shirts weren't going to get them laid by the bar owners (two Korean ladies) they decided to leave.
Other than a few other straglers we had the bar to ourselves. My friends drank a shit load of alcohol but I kept it cool and only had a couple of beers. One thing that my friends do, or more specifically my one friend does, is get the bartenders drunk. Of course once the alcohol hits you can't help but turn on the karaoke machine. My friend Vince had us rolling on the floor with his renditions of songs that he changed the words too. I sang a couple of tunes and Vince started messing with one of the owners by telling her that I was singing for her. He is so wrong.
Anyway, with the lady all hot and bothered she asked me to dance with her. She owns the place and she is a friend of a friend so I was a sport and gave the girl a twirl. She probably had a few too many though because she tried to suck on my neck. HAHAHA. Yeah, it's been a while since I've gotten some action but I'm not down with the old Korean lovin'. Not that she is a senior citizen or anything. She's probably only in her late 30's or early 40's at most, but still. I had to perform my best evasive manuevers to get out of that situation. You never know what kind of trouble you'll be getting into when you hang out with my friends. I'm sure they were very entertained.
I spent the early part of Sunday on MySpace helping people with their profiles and coding questions. There are a lot of great profiles out there and there are a lot of crappy ones. I updated a few things on my own profile while I was here. I'm going to try and completely get rid of the MySpace Friends area and replace it with my own VIP area. I still have to learn a few tricks before that happens though.
The rest of the day was spent watching football with my friends. After footbal we watched Friday. Damn that is a funny ass movie. Later that night Buddha stopped by with a copy of that new movie House of Flying Daggers. It was a good movie and all but damn, that's a lot of drama over getting laid.
