Ok, so I have been thinking about selling my Vette and buying a brand spankin new car with a warranty and all that good shit. The car I have been eyeballing has been the Mini Cooper S. It's small and seems peppy. It would be a drastic change going from a big V8 to a tiny 4 banger.
I've thought about selling the Vette before but could never bring myself to do it. I'm just hooked on this car. It's just an awesome world class sports car and how many people can say that they own one of those? I will be a Vette guy for life.
While sitting here at work it hit me. I don't have to sell my Vette. I just have to find a chick who owns a Mini Cooper S and go out with her. Preferably a chick with a Mini who doesn't like driving and would be willing to hand over the keys. heeheehee.
The search begins!

So last night I got home and went online like I usually do to check my email and stuff before I got to The Lab. I was just about to take off when Kelly asked me if I wanted to come over for some Ice. I was all like what kind of ice? 'cause if she wanted me to come over for ice cream I was going to have to say no thank you. I never know what my body's reaction is going to be to ice cream. Sometimes I'm ok, and other time...whoa just get out the way. She was actually refering to Smirnoff Ice, the malted beverage of choice at your local Jr. High.
I told her that I was just about to go to The Lab to kick it with The Funk and then she said she was making Mac n Cheese for dinner. Well that changed everything. I'm a Mac N Cheese freak and I haven't had it in like forever. So I called The Funk and told him I wouldn't be coming over until later but he said he had to go somewhere so it was cool.
So I went over to Kelly's place and kicked it for the evening. I'm still a lot antsy about being around strangers. I guess it was a good thing that I didn't think about it before I agreed to come over. The Mac n Cheese clouded my judgement.
The Mac n Cheese was just as good as it's always been, i'm happy to report. They haven't changed anything or made it weird in any way that I could tell. The Smirnoff Ice was Smirnoff Icey.
When I got home Simona called me. She is in New York for some flight attendant training thingy. She will be there for a couple of weeks. I haven't actually seen Simona or spoken to her face to face since before she went back home to Romainia last year! Now all our contact is over the phone or via email. And even then it is few and far between. I think our lives are slowly being pulled in different directions.
