I saw a good movie and a shitty movie last night. The good movie was Pieces of April. It was about a girl cooking Thanksgiving dinner for her visiting family. Oh there was much more to the story than that, but everything revolves around that event. I think everyone should see it, especially parents who judge their children.
The shitty movie was Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. The Funk called me during Pieces of April and asked if I wanted to see Dawn of the Dead with him. I told him that I did want to see it again but it would have to be after 9pm. He called back later and said that the only showing of DoD after 9 was at like 10:30. So then he suggested Scooby Doo 2. I told him it would be better if we just waited and watched DoD later in the week. He insisted on watching Scooby Doo 2 and said we would watch DoD later. I really didn't want to see this movie but I agreed to go anyway.
I fell asleep about half an hour into the movie and drifted in and out all the way to the very end. Man that thing was bad. The thing that frightens me is that when I have kids i'm going to have to see crap like that all the time. Maybe I just won't have kids. Or maybe momma will like crap movies like that and be the one to take them to the theater.
Oh, yesterday we hired Seth Green. Not the real Seth Green but a dude that looks just like him except for having brown hair instead of red. I will probably never remember his name and just call him Seth.
I will soon be very poor. I forgot to mention that I had to leave my Vette back in Turlock again. I need to get the "Check Engine" thing looked at and probaby have the gas tank drained so it doesn't do any more damage. I'm going to hold off on the draining though because I may be able to just go to the Union 76 station and fill the rest of the tank with 105 octane racing fuel and it will offset the crappy 87 octane stuff my dad put in. I'm also having the transmission looked at to see why it's leaking. So yeah, all my money is going to go to repairs instead of fun stuff like a trip or toys. Blah!
