If you don't want to read all this crap then here are the links to see Poocake's birthday card:
and if you are too lazy to click the link then here it is:
On the back I wrote: To the birthday girl with the jehri curl, keep your pimp hand strong! Happy Birthday, el guapo. I hope Poocake liked the card and the cup.
So I had very loose plans yesterday to go have a few happy hour drinks with Mindy (the girl from BART last week) but we never finalized anything so I just went home last night instead.
Actually, before I even got home I got a call from lil missy. She wanted to know what I was up to. I just told her that I was going home to chill and then head up to the city later to drop off a gift for Poocake. So she asked me to join her at Starbucks while she did her homework. She spends a lot of time at Starbucks because her parents are not to thrilled with her being pregnant and there is a lot of drama when she is home.
So I went there and hung out for a little while. We were both hungry so I decided to take her out for dinner. She jumped in my car and navigated me to this Vietnamese restaurant in Hayward on Mission Blvd. It was pretty damn good.
lil missy's belly is really popping out now. She is about 5 months pregnant. She has taken to not wearing bras which is fine with me. Last night she had this tight white sports thing for pregnant women on and you could see her nips right through it. lil missy has some amazing nips, let me tell you. Actually, she has about the most perfect breasts that I have ever seen.
So you know I have to describe the meal. We started off with some Vietnamese style rolls (not the emperial rolls) and Calamari. They were both very good especially the calamari. It wasn't chopped into rings like most restaurants do. It was cut into flat pieces, battered, and fried. For the main course lil missy had the Halibut in some yellow curry sauce. I had the Vermicelli bowl with an emperial roll, shrimp, and bbq pork. I poured fish sauce all over my vermicelli and went to town. It was all very very good and I'm going to eat there again when I get the chance.
After dinner I had to drop off lil missy at her car and race home. I still had to take a shower and drive up to the city. I managed to get home rather quickly and be ready by 10:30. I got to city and had to go around the block where '84 is like twice before I found parking.
I got in line a little after 11pm and didn't get in until like 11:30 I think. The place was already pretty packed. I squeezed my way to the bar and ordered a Glenlivet on the rocks. They told me they didn't have it. The only scotch they had was pretty much generic mass produced crap so I asked for a Bud Light instead. They didn't have Bud Light but they did have Miller Light. So I took that and then pushed and shoved my way towards the back room.
The back room is where it's happening as far as I am concerned. The front room has very poppy 80's music, which I love to listen to but I don't like hearing at a club. The back room has the more new wave/industrial type 80's music. It's heavy on synthesizers and heavy beats so it's great to dance to. I positioned myself just inside the room and figured that Poocakes would have to walk past me some time during the night.
I was there like half an hour and she never did. In the mean time I had heard about 4 Human League songs in the mix and I got to watch two drag queens lip sync to some 80's songs.
I went to the bar to get a bottle of water because it was damn hot and I was sweating away all my fluids. While I was being ignored by the bartenders I spotted that head and I knew it was Poocakes way over on the other side of the bar and in kind of like a corner.
So I got my water and started the long journey through the crowd towards Poocakes. I was almost immediately stopped by one of the Madonnas (there was some type of Madonna competition last night). She saw the pink gift bag and asked if that was for her. I smiled and said that I was sorry but it was for someone else. She lauged and said, "oh but i'm the material girl..." and I just kind of looked at her like "ok lady that's funny but if you try to grab this bag i'm going to sock you on the boob." She didn't try to grab the bag though, thankfully.
I made my way to where the Poocakes was and met my last obstacle, two chicks doing something. Maybe they were making out, maybe they were dancing. I don't know. I was too close to the Poocakes to care. So finally I was able to get by them and I got in front of Poocakes and her boyfriend, Showtime. I held out the pink gift bag and when they finally notice me Poocakes eyes got huge and she kind of waved me off like she was trying to tell me "go away my boyfriend is right here" or "oh little mexican man I do not want to dance with you."
So I just stood there with my hand extended holding the pink gift bag, which by now had a large rip in the bottom. The rest is kind of a blur. I think the gravitational force from Poocake's head made me go wonky. Things I am sure of are: she opened the gift and I shook Showtime's hand. I don't know if I got to touch her pocket of upper hip fat like last time. I remember getting a close up look of her super pink lips. I don't think she wears pink lipstick either but I could be wrong.
My encounters with the Poocakes are few and far between but that is ok. I don't think I could handle the long term effects of being in her head's gravitational pull.
