So Wednesday started the same as every other day. I got down to the conference room about half hour early, ate my yogurt, bagel with cream cheese and two bottles of water, and Angela came in late.
Lunch started out with this green soup. It was some type of vegetable. I thought it was pea soup, others said string bean. The main course was a very nice chicken salad. It was presented very nicely. They cut a pineapple into quarters scooped out the inside and put a giant scoop of the chicken salad in one of the quarters. Then they put fruits all around the pineapple on the plate. It was very tastey. For dessert we had Key Lime Pie. It was extremely strong! I could only eat half of it.
The second half of the conference went as usual. Continued discussion about retirement plan stuff. I had to go to the bathroom because I drink a lot of water (i pee more than a girl). When I pulled my weiner out and started to pee I immediately realized what kind of soup we had for lunch! It was Asparagus soup! Boy was that stinky!
Angela spend the rest of the day sleeping at the table. She knew for sure she wasn't going to pass the test so she didn't give a flying rats ass.
After the conference I went up to my room to put my stuff away but I had to come right back down to another area of the hotel. Some sales people were going to pitch this fancy schmancy retirement plan website that comapanies could use to drum up more retirement business. They provided free drinks and food.
I really noticed something at this sales pitch. People were not tipping the bartender just because they didn't have to pay for the drinks. How ghetto is that? I mean sheesh, bartenders are craftsmen. You tip them because they are making a kick ass drink not because they are charging you for it.
After the sales pitch some dudes asked me if I wanted to go eat at Theissman's restaurant. I said sure but I had to pee. They said they would wait for me. I went to pee then went to meet them in front of the hotel.
When I got out front the dudes were not there. Some other peepz from the conference were outside and they invited me to go into DC with them to have some pizza. I said sure and we jumped on the metro and went into town.
We made our way to the Dupont Circle station. Have you ever seen that movie, Heavenly Kid? Remember that long ass escalator? It's like the longest escalator in the world? That escalator is at the Dupont Circle metro station.
We had some old school italian stylee pizza at Pizza Paradiso and then walked around Dupont Circle. Then we went back to the hotel and I went to sleep
